JUCo, through its Directorate of Outreach and Internationalization, coordinated by Dr. Jacek Gorka, Director of Internationalization, has launched a three-day programme of practical lectures aimed at equipping students with practical knowledge, real-world experience and skills for their future careers, entrepreneurship and leadership.

The first lecture was successfully conducted on 3rd November 2026, featuring Dr. Viktor Korcek (PhD, MBA), an International Business Consultant, Actor and Influencer. He delivered an engaging and practical session titled "Get the Job, Keep the Job: How to Find a Job and Build Your Career."

The session focused on practical strategies for entering and succeeding in the employment market, including how to approach employers, perform well in interviews, make a good first impression, maintain professionalism and demonstrate reliability and initiative after securing employment.

Through interactive discussions and real-life examples, students gained valuable insights into how they can position themselves professionally, build strong relationships with employers and develop sustainable careers.

The Three Practical Lectures programme continues on 4th and 5th November 2026 with two remaining sessions: "Start Small, Think Big: How to Start Your Own Microbusiness" and "Sun Tzu for Business: Strategic Lessons from The Art of War."

The second session will focus on entrepreneurship, guiding students on how to identify problems and create simple solutions, start businesses with limited capital, find their first customers, understand basic costs, profit and cash flow, and grow from a small venture into a sustainable business.

The final session will explore strategic thinking in business, drawing lessons from The Art of War, including understanding oneself and competitors, choosing the right market, avoiding unnecessary competition and using information, speed and strategic positioning to identify opportunities.

The initiative reflects JUCo's commitment to complementing classroom learning with practical experiences that prepare students for employment, entrepreneurship and leadership.
