The President of the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) and the Bishop of the Lindi Catholic Diocese
Presently the President of the Tanzania Episcopal Conference and the Bishop of the Lindi Catholic Diocese. He was born on 06th July 1965 at Karatu being a first born in the family of four children. He received secondary education (both O level and A- Level) at Maua Seminary in Kilimanjaro from 1983 to 1989.
He joined the Order of Friars of the Minor Capuchin in 1990. From 1991 to 1994 he undertook Philosophical studies in Lusaka, Zambia. He joined Jordan University College (JUCo) by then, the Salvatorian Institute of Philosophy and Theology for Bachelor of Arts in Theology from 1995 to 1999.
After graduation, he was ordained priest on 1st September 1999. He joined the University of Dar es Salaam for Masters studies in Ethics from 2001 to 2003. He was appointed as the Rector of Maua Seminary in 2005 where he served to 2008. From 2009 to 2011, he joined the Catholic University of America in Washington.
